May 2011

Greetings!

Sharon Abrams, Maine Childrens HomeI trust the mothers reading this e-newsletter had a wonderful Mother's Day! It's exciting to think that summer and Father's Day are just around the corner.

This past month was filled with wonderful fundraising events on our campus and in our community. Together, the Friends of MCH Yard Sale and wine tasting event raised over $6,500 to support our wide variety of programs. Plus, our Easter Egg Hunt provided fun memories for over 130 children and their families. On behalf of our entire staff, thank you to everyone involved with these events.

This month our e-newsletter features news about Colby students helping to support our summer camp scholarship program and information on "Italia Night" at The Homestead in Farmington. The fundraiser will feature a wide variety of wines, silent auction and of course, great appetizers...I'm hungry just thinking about it!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Sincerely,

Sharon Abrams, Executive Director
