Summer Camp

Summer Camp Scholarship Program

Please help us make an overnight camping experience a reality for a boy or girl from your community. Donate to our Summer Camp Scholarship Program. Just $255 sends a child to overnight summer camp for one week.

The Maine Children's Home camper scholarships have been providing Maine children with a brighter outlook on the future since 1967. Summer camps that are currently involved in the program include Camp Susan Curtis in Stoneham, Camp Tracy in Oakland, Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, Fair Haven Camps in Brooks and Julia Clukey's Camp for Girls in Readfield.

As a nonprofit organization relying primarily on contributions, The Maine Children's Home needs the support of businesses and individuals to help underprivileged children overcome hurdles resulting from poverty, abuse and neglect. This year, The Maine Children's Home plans to send 150 children to summer camp. Please join us in working to reach that goal.
