Summer Camp for Underprivileged Children

Summer Camp Scholarships are one of the many programs of the Maine Children's Home. Please help us make a camping experience a reality for a boy or girl from your community.

Maine Children's Home camperships were established in 1967. The agency's board of directors made a decision to send underprivileged children to overnight camp. This avoids duplication of services of area day camps.

You Can Help

As a nonprofit organization relying primarily on contributions, the Maine Children's Home needs the help of many who are interested in youth and want to help underprivileged children overcome the hurdles resulting from poverty and abuse.  This year, the Maine Children's Home plans to send 150 children to summer camp.

$255 will send one child to
overnight camp for one week.
