Greetings!
With the kids back in school, leaves changing color and cooler temperatures at night, fall is one of my favorite seasons in Maine.
Here on campus, fall means we're busy getting ready for two major fundraisers in October. On October 14th, we will hold our traditional fall Lobster Lunch and on October 19th, T & B's Celebration Center will host our Passion for Fashion fundraiser. You can learn more about both of these events and how you can participate by reading the stories below.
This month, I also want to acknowledge our Friends organization for their time and effort to make the Lobster Roll Lunch possible. This team of volunteers is so important to us and I encourage you to learn more about what they do and see if you might like to be a part of the fun-loving group.
Sincerely,

Sharon Abrams, Executive Director

The Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers announced that it will receive a donation of 100 pounds of lobster from Cozy Harbor Seafood in Portland for the agency's upcoming Lobster Roll fundraiser to benefit the organization's Christmas Program. This is the second year in a row that Cozy Harbor Seafood has donated the lobster.
Based in Portland, the Cozy Harbor Seafood company buys, processes and distributes premium-quality fresh fish, lobster tails and lobster meat, live lobster, ready-to-cook seafood and case-ready seafood throughout the U.S, Canada and in parts of Europe.
Leading up to the event, the Friends of the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers and other employees and volunteers have sold the lobster rolls to local businesses and organizations in the greater Waterville area. Ways to Donate
For over 100 years and way before cell phones, we've been helping children and families come together to build a brighter future.
Our programs are made possible because of support from local businesses, organizations and individuals, just like you.
We recognize that a service we provide or program we offer might have special meaning for you. Now you can visit our website and donate directly to any program or make a general donation to address our most urgent needs.
