An Update on COVID-19 from The Maine Children's Home

NOTICE TO ALL VOLUNTEERS, SUPPORTERS, DONORS & STAFF

MARCH 17, 2020

The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers is committed to the health and well-being of our staff, our clients, and our community. While we are working together to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) we will be limiting access to our campus to essential staff. “Essential staff” will include our Operations Department and limited maintenance staff for the time being. All other programs of the Maine Children’s Home will be unavailable on campus but will continue to provide support and stay in contact remotely. We ask that you continue to reach out to us for assistance but with telephone calls and emails rather than coming to our campus. For more information on how our organization is handling COVID-19, please go to our website: mainechildrenshome.org/resources.

Why am I telling you all this? We know that as a supporter of Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers, you care. You care about the people we serve, and you care about how MCH is serving them. We want you to know we are being responsible stewards of your donations of time, talents, and treasure. We also want you to know that we are continuing to serve our mission – and we continue to depend on your support. (And thank you, thank you, thank you for your support!)

Everything thing we do at Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers (MCH) begins with and ends with our mission: "to build and strengthen families and their children, instilling hope for the future and a better quality of life.”
