About this event

The last 18 months of the pandemic and its ensuing fallout have had a profound impact on individual and collective resilience. In this three-hour training, participants will gain an understanding of collective trauma, its impact on individual and collective resilience, and the essential priorities in reinstating a sense of safety and regulation in individuals, families, and the broader community.

Participants will:

• Be exposed to cutting edge research to expose the legacy of unhealed collective trauma | The work of Dr. Leia Saltzman (collective trauma), Dr. Maria Yellow Horse Brave Heart (historical trauma), and Dr. Rachel Yehuda (epigenetics)

• Be exposed to the theory and science of felt safety - Dr. Stephen Porges | The Polyvagal Theory

• Be exposed to the essential priorities (in terms of environmental conditions and relational conditions) in healing collective trauma | The work of Dr. Bruce Perry
