The Center for Families in the newly renovated Lunder building brings together counseling, adoption services, young parent support, and targeted case management in one welcoming location. By connecting these services under one roof, families access support more easily and receive care from counselors, social workers, case managers, and advocates working together.
As the Center grows, we want the space to be even more welcoming and accessible. Improvements continue, including signage and accessibility ramps at entrances, and plans for a “Healing Garden.”

For more than a century, Maine Children’s Home has supported children and families across Maine. Today, we are taking the next step in that mission by bringing our core programs together under one roof. The Center for Families represents a more connected, coordinated approach to care, making it easier for individuals and families to access the support they need, when they need it.
